Don't Pop Blisters

Unsightly blister burns should never be popped. As unattractive as they area, popping them will not expedite the healing process. In fact, it can prolong it. By puncturing the blister and opening the wound up, you make it susceptible to infections. Plus, you've now damaged your skin. So your body will have to regrow its skin, which will add to the healing time. Your body will, in its own time, drain the blister. Rinse the blister, apply an antibiotic ointment, and cover with a bandage.
